Windows 8 Minimum System Requirements
It is reported that Windows 8 is expected to have the same system requirements as Windows 7, and will run on existing machines that run Windows 7. Here are the following minimum system requirements to run Windows 8:

  • Processor: 1GHz or faster 32-bit or 64-bit processor
  • RAM: 1GB (32-bit) or 2GB (64-bit)
  • HD Space: 16GB for 32-bit (or 20GB for 64-bit)

Dirty Picture on sony : Has Indian govt gone sick or is this a positive wise move?

Last sunday, people all over India were waiting for the movie called "Dirty Picture" which was going to be shown on Sony TV. The TV rights were bought at a huge price by the channel from the producers since we all know the scale of popularity and craze for the Movie awesome in the entertainment loving audience. 

Sudden and shocking move from the ministry of broadcasting come at a interval of around few minutes from the telecasting schedule of the movie show where it was fully denied that this movie (Dirty Picture) could be telecast on any TV channel of india. 

Bollywood has criticized the Govt's move and so the other people from various fields as well. 

When people can see this at a cinema hall why cannot this be shown on TV. Everyone is asking the same question again and again with different style of words.

It is a wise move or a move that will just crash the image of this govt. further. 

Decision is one the public itself. you have to make the move from now. people have done what they were not selected to do.

The Employees Provident money establishment or the EPFO is a statutory body under the Ministry of Labour plus Employment, Government of India and is one of the largest provident cash institutions in the world in terms of members plus volume of financial transactions. The employee provident fund of India or EPF India works under the directive principles of State Policy. A provision for securing the right- to work, education, unemployment, old age, sickness & disablement needs to be customize by all state in India. For establishments coming under the purview of the statute, Membership is compulsory for employees.
As per the provisions, each corporation having another than 20 employees in its organization or an management notified by the central government needs to register with the EPFO. An equal contribution from both the employer and employee, calculated as a percentage of basic salary, is appropriate to be remitted in the EPF account. On this deposit plus interest at a prescribed rate is provided to the worker for the complete contribution. This benefits the employees at times of distress, retirement, death or disablement by a lump sum payout to the nominee or his/her family.
The EPF & MP Act, 1952 were enacted by Parliament and came into force together with effect from 4th March, 1952 after which numerous interventions were done to include the Employees Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 as part of it. Presently, the following:
Three schemes are in operation under the Act:
Employees Provident cash Scheme, 1952
Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976.
Employees Pension Scheme, 1995 (Replacing the Employees Family Pension Scheme 1971)

  • Please click on the following link to know the balance in your EPF Account upto the date, the accounts are updated, which also includes the latest approved transactions of settlement/advances/transfer-in/transfer-out, if any.

  • Select the EPFO office where your account is maintained and furnish your PF Account number.

  • Leave the extension field blank, in case your account does not have one.

  • You will be asked to enter your name and mobile number. The given mobile number will be recorded along with the PF Account Number.
